Spotlight on AutoHunter: 1967 Ford Mustang GT fastback


Featured on Automatic hunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is a 1967 Ford Mustang GT Fastback.

“As part of its 2-year long restoration, this fastback has undergone rust remediation, bodywork and a new coat of paint,” notes AutoHunter in the listing. “The panels were sanded and primed for rust protection prior to assembly, and the seller reports that all lines and gaps are to factory specs through the use of new stock and doors, fenders , rust-free trunk and hood matched with one paint stick.

Under the hood is a Regs High Performance plan 347cidV8 stroker engine that produces 425 horsepower. The engine is mated to a Toploader four-speed manual transmission that sends power to a Currie rear axle with 3.89: 1 gears and a traction lock.

The interior features new Procar black vinyl bucket seats for driver and passenger, new carpet and the rear seat is stock.

It runs on 14-inch American Racing Torque Thrust wheels with Hankook Kinergy ST 195/70 tires. Stopping power has been improved with Wilwood front and rear disc brakes and master cylinder.
