KN Prasad to take control of Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts

Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts (TKAP) on Tuesday announced a high-level management change with KN Prasad set to take over as chief executive. Currently, Prasad is senior vice president of the company. He will replace KG Mohan Kumar after being appointed by the board of directors at a meeting to be held in January 2022, the company said in a statement.

In his new role, Prasad will be responsible for the strategic direction of TKAP’s operations in India, he added.

Prasad has a total of 33 years of experience, including over 20 years with TKAP.

He brings with him a wealth of experience in various fields spanning production, engineering and quality, in addition to a deep knowledge of the industry and a deep understanding of the changing industry scenario. This should further contribute to the overall growth of the business at this critical stage, the company said.
