Introducing the 2022 Ford Mustang in a Dark and Grim Stealth Edition
Ford Motor introduced a very first Stealth Edition package on the 2022 Mustang for the EcoBoost Premium model as well as a GT Performance Package option for the Mustang GT California Special. Mustang customers will get these package options straight from the factory for the 2022 model year.
The turbocharged 310-horsepower Mustang EcoBoost Premium model will present a menacing look thanks to the blackened appointments on the fastback.

Inside, the Mustang Stealth Edition features a matte and glossy black dashboard badge and illuminated scuff plate. âThe black accents really give the car a whole new personality, sinister and sporty at the same time,â said Jim Owens, Mustang brand marketing director. âOf course, the package needed the right name. Stealth Edition says it all,â he added.
The Stealth Edition pack for Mustang will be available in Atlas Blue, Carbonized Gray, Dark Matter and Shadow Black.
Meanwhile, the optional Mustang California Special with Performance GT Package pays homage to the blacked-out grille, side racing stripes and rear fender scoop of the stock version. The heritage-inspired âGT / CSâ side stripe trademark stretches from the front fender to the rear fender scoop.

There is a California Special badge in Ebony Black and Race Red on the trunk lid, while the GT / CS badge sits on the honeycomb grille. The larger front splitter in the GT Performance package underscores the handling prowess of the iconic fastback.
The GT performance package includes painted machined 19-inch five-spoke wheels. Under the hood is a signature strut tower brace with a California Special badge above its 5.0-liter V8 engine.
Inside, the vehicle features rich black Miko suede-trimmed door inserts and suede-trimmed seats with embossed “GT / CS” logo and red contrast stitching, as well as custom embroidered floor mats. The instrument panel is hexagonal carbon aluminum with a California Special script badge on the passenger side.
