Ford Returning as Presenting Sponsor for 2022 Dream Cruise
FERNDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Just one month away from the 2022 Woodward Dream Cruise, Ford Motor Company returns as the event’s sponsor.
This will be the fifth consecutive year that Ford has sponsored the cruise.
“There’s nothing like the Woodward Dream Cruise and that’s why Ford is extending its sponsorship of America’s premier auto show for a fifth consecutive year,” said Rob Johnston, chief marketing officer. Cruisers are scheduled to return to Woodward on Saturday August 20.
As part of their participation, Ford is paying homage to three quarters of a century of its trucks by depicting the sixth-generation F-100 pickup truck in the Woodward Dream Cruise 2022 logo with its redesigned egg-crate grille and rectangular headlights. The new logo was also unveiled today.
The company will showcase its latest vehicles, including the all-electric F-150 Lighting, all-new Bronco Raptor, Mustang Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition and others at this year’s Dream Cruise.
